Terms of Service
Welcome to Silveroath (銀誓, at https://silveroath.app; "the game", "we" or "us"). Please read these terms before using the game. By starting to use the game, you agree to follow these terms and the privacy policy. Minors should use the game only after their legal guardian has read and agreed to them.
1. The service and the testing period
The game is still in development and testing and is offered free of charge. Its content, numbers, rules and look may change at any time; to fix problems or release new versions, we may suspend the service, or clear or reset game data such as characters and items. We will try to announce major resets in the game in advance.
2. Accounts
- The first time you enter the game, a guest account is created automatically and kept in the browser on that device. If you clear the browser's data, change browsers or change devices, the guest account is lost and cannot be recovered.
- Once you link a Google account, you can sign in with the same Google account on other devices and get the same game account back.
- Please take good care of your device and your Google account. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
- Accounts and characters may not be rented, lent, transferred, bought or sold.
3. Virtual items in the game
The gold, items, equipment, characters and other virtual content in the game are part of the game's service. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. What you obtain is the right to use them in the game, not ownership of them. Buying, selling or exchanging game accounts, characters or virtual items for real money or other property is prohibited.
4. Prohibited conduct
- Using cheats, modifying the game's code or web pages, intercepting or forging the connection with the server, or operating the game with automation the game does not provide (the game's built-in Auto-Hunt is allowed).
- Exploiting bugs or loopholes for an unfair advantage. If you find a loophole, please report it to us by email instead of spreading or repeatedly using it.
- Attacking or disabling the servers, or trying to gain unauthorized access to them or to other players' accounts.
- Harassing, threatening or discriminating against others in chat, character names or stall names, or spreading pornographic, violent, fraudulent or otherwise illegal content.
- Impersonating the game's staff or other players, or cheating others in trades.
- Any other conduct that breaks the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan) or clearly damages the fairness and order of the game.
5. How breaches are handled
When we find conduct that breaches these terms, we may, depending on its seriousness, give a warning, remove the content involved, take back items and experience gained through the breach, or suspend or permanently stop the use of the account, without compensation. If you have doubts about a decision, you can appeal by email.
6. Intellectual property
The rights to the game's code, art, music, sound effects, text and other content belong to us or to the rights holders who license them to us. They may not be copied, modified, distributed or used commercially without permission. You agree that we may use the chat messages you post and the names you choose in the game in order to provide, maintain and promote the game.
7. Disclaimer
The game is provided as is. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that data will never be lost. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for interruptions or data loss caused by system maintenance, updates, network or server failures, force majeure or similar causes.
8. Changes to these terms and ending the service
We may change these terms. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page, and we will announce significant changes in the game. If you keep using the game after a change takes effect, you agree to the terms as changed. We may also end the game's service after announcing it in advance.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Both sides agree that the Taiwan Taipei District Court is the court of first instance for any dispute arising from these terms or the game.
